An area rich in history and traditions, the Nure and Chero Valleys welcome the visitor with a thousand possibilities to relax and enjoy himself. Festivals and folklore go on all year round and are the best moments to discover the reality of this land and its people. These are the moments to taste the specialities of the local cuisine, washed down by a glass of good wine, while listening to the music of a dance orchestra. Or, breathing the atmosphere of an ancient festival, you may look at the market stalls, watch a show, or search out old traditions. There are many occasions when you can discover the traditions and history of the Nure and Chero valleys, especially during the period of fine weather. The historic re-enactments and pageants in costume at Grazzano Visconti should not be missed, nor the special days at Calenzano and some of the religious festivals. |

A rich programme of evening entertainment lasts all year in the Nure and Chero valleys: plays in dialect, choral competitions, concerts of classical music and rock shows. Then in the summer there are evenings to dance under the stars and outdoor cinema. |
