A great festival in honour of the king of the Piacenza wines in the Castle of the Scotti di Vigoleno. The fifteenth-century Town Hall of Carpaneto Piacentino is the setting for the sixth edition of the Gutturnio Festival, a celebration dedicated to his Majesty the Sparkling Gutturnio. The wineries and the producers, assisted by sommeliers, will illustrate the characteristics of their products, combined with PDO foods from Piacenza, such as the coppa, the salame and the pancetta, the cheeses, and dishes prepared by the students of the Hotel School.
Amongst the novelties this year are a bookshop dedicated to Gutturnio, and a selection of German wines from the Pfalz region in the Winechange section.
Tastings: 12,00 Euro (5 coupons for individual tasting) in the courtyard of the Town Hall; 10,00 Euro guided tasting, to be booked at the entrance to the fair or online.

Sunday 5 June tasting from 10 am until 10 pm and cabaret evening with live music.
