The bortellina bettolese has been recognised as a De.Co product, i.e. a municipal speciality, and is the focus of this festival, started in the 1960s.
The sagra opens on Saturday evening, with food stands and live music in piazza Colombo, and really gets under way on Sunday morning with the historical procession of people in costume and allegorical floats representing major events in the history of the district.
Entertainment, popular games, stalls and an agricultural market with organic products, stands with the best food and wine produced in the province of Piacenza, everything accompanied by the excellent bortellina bettolese. In the evening live music and a fireworks display.
