Albarola di Vigolzone – Autumn Flavours - Sapori d'Autunno

'Sapori d'Autunno - Autumn flavours' will be held at Albarola near Vigolzone on Sunday 23 October 2016.
The Pro Loco of Albarola is organising the traditional roasting of chestnuts at the Villa Barattieri, ztarting at 12 noon, and will prepare sandwiches with salamelle and the cured meats of Piacenza, as well as roast chestnuts and mulled wine.
Inside the prestigious eighteenth-century villa, market stalls selling artistic crafts and typical local produce, including wine, honey, cheese and cured meats of the Valnure.
It will be possible to visit the Cantina Barattieri, guided visits at 10.30 a.m. and 3.30 p.m.
This is also a chance to see an exhibition of truffles and mushrooms from the Nure Valley.
Throughout the afternoon there will be live music and entertainment, with games from the olden days.
