Near Farini, in the delightful little village of Mareto (955 metres above sea level) Christmas markets are being organised for the first time through the month of December.
This is a special event, with the proceeds going to charity (all the money collected will be used for the restoration of the priest's house in Mareto) programmed on the following dates:
Friday 8, Saturday 9, and Sunday 10 December 2017, all day starting from 11 a.m.
Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 December 2017, all day starting from 11 a.m.
Sunday 24 December 2017, from 8 p.m.
A magical Christmas scene will be created in front of the church, with stalls selling handmade articles inspired by Christmas themes.
And there is nothing to warm you up better than a hot chocolate or mulled wine prepared specially each market day and on Christmas Eve.
