The village is made up of two distinct hamlets, known simply as Pradello Superiore and Pradello Inferiore. In the upper part of the village is the famous Torre Colombo or Columbus Tower, while the parish church of Santi Cosma e Damiano is in the lower village. Several buildings in the village are typical of the traditional rural buildings of the valley, constructed in stone with slate roofs.

The tower belonged to the family of the great discoverer. Many believe that the Admiral of the Ocean Sea was actually born here.
It is now open to visitors on special occasions or by appointment.
