At one time Revigozzo covered a much larger area: not only the district on the left bank of the Camia stream, known as Revigozzo Citeriore, but also that on the right bank, known as Revigozzo Ulteriore, which then became Olmo. The church, dedicated to San Michele Arcangelo stands in an isolated position, from which there are splendid views across the Nure valley.
Church of San Michele at Revigozzo
The church of San Michele Arcangelo stands at about 470 m above sea level. Early in the 20th century the neogothic building replaced an 11th-century church, of which some traces remain.
