De.Co. Potato Bread of Farini
The country potato bread of Farini is the latest speciality, in order of time, to have received recognition as a De.Co, a municipal origin.
Prepared with flour, water, natural yeast, potatoes, oil and salt, it has to rise three times and is cooked in a wood oven heated with bundles of wood gathered from the surrounding forests.
It is the working by craftsmen and the use of first-quality materials that give the loaf a crisp outer crust and a soft inside, made even tastier by the potatoes.
