One of the oldest and most traditional dishes of the peasant food of the mountains, prepared with the De.Co potatoes of Farini.
Made from cornflour and white flour with the addition of white mountain potatoes, this is a simple but very substantial dish. Easy and quick to prepare, polenta with potatoes goes wonderfully well with a mushroom sauce or with our local cured meats and cheeses, to become an excellent main dish.
Once the polenta is cooked it should be emptied out on to the traditional wooden board and cut with a kitchen thread.
