The Colli Piacentini Valnure is a DOC wine produced exclusively in the hilly portion of the Nure and Riglio Valleys, particularly suited to this cultivation. The production area includes part of the municipal territories of San Giorgio, Vigolzone and Ponte dell`Olio.
The wine is made from aromatic Malvasia di Candia, Ortrugo and Trebbiano Romagnolo grapes, but can have an addition of up to a maximum of 15% of recommended or authorised white grapes grown in the province of Piacenza.
Colour: yellow, pale straw colour
Bouquet: characteristic, pleasing, aromatic
Flavour: dry or semi-sweet or sweet, pleasant, still or slightly sparkling (vivace)
The Colli Piacentini Valnure is recommended in combination with starters or antipasti, soups, fish, white meat and fresh cheeses.
