Guided tours to the Castle of Grazzano Visconti

Since September 1st 2018, the Castle of Grazzano Visconti has been open to visitors.
The ancient castle of the 14th Century - of which the majestic towers stand out among the thick greenery of the Park - will be accessible every Saturday, Sunday and public holiday from March till December with guided tour.

The guided tour starts at the ground floor, passing through the party room to the library, to the dining room, proceeding to the first floor with the bedrooms, the wardrobe and reaching the upper gallery.
After having crossed the courtyard of the Castle - surrounded by a wide moat - the inner rooms are entered: the visitors will have the possibility to look at the wonderful hall of honour, the weapons room, the dining room and the precious library.
On the upper floor, it will be possible to look at the wonderful bedrooms; each one is furnished in different styles, based on the taste of the collectors Giuseppe Visconti di Modrone, who made renovate the castle at the beginning of the 20th Century.
Particularly exciting will be the visit to the mysterious room of Aloisa, the ghost protecting the Borough of Grazzano Visconti. Even admirable are the wonderful wrought iron works and the wooden closets, which were carved and decorated by the artisans of Grazzano.

The guided tour lasts around one hour and 15 minuts and it is organized on time slots.

In November and December 2018 and January 2019, the castle will be open concurrently with the Christmas markets of Grazzano Visconti.

Adults: 16 euros
Children and teenagers, from 6 to 16 years old: 8 euros
For groups (minimum 20 people): 13 euros (reservation required)

In terms of duration and contents, the tour is particularly challenging for children under 6 years old.
Dogs are not allowed to enter the castle.
The tour occurs in the residence. The park is not included.
