Don Franco Molinari
Historian, journalist and university teacher, Father Molinari was successful in the academic and newspaper worlds without ever forgetting his vocation as a priest. Meeting Igino Giordani had a great influence on his thought and activity.
Born in Vigolzone in 1928, he was ordained priest in 1951. In 1955 he graduated in ecclesiastical history at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome. He taught at the Catholic University for over twenty years, and at the same time was a writer and journalist, collaborating with local and national papers.
He died in 1991 after a short illness.
